Thtenn Rider Insurance

Thtenn Rider Insurance

Overview

As expressed in our Thtenn safe riding policy, our priority is rider and environmental safety. This is why we are committed to continuous safety checks and balances to help protect our riders and the community as a whole from all potential risks involved in mic-mobility. We have collaborated with leading non-motorised micro-mobility insurance providers, to ensure that riders are covered when they’re riding Thtenn vehicles and the environment is reassured of their own safety through our awareness campaigns.

We take environmental and rider safety very seriously and we are proud to express our commitment through our advanced high visibility and light weight non-motorised dock-less, dual security 4G IOT smart bike, coupled with our advanced interactive technology system.

Riding a Thtenn bike is a healthy, fun, green and safe experience. However, riding thtenn bike must be done with considerable safety measures including the riders’ sense of responsibility, understanding and observation all road traffic rules and regulations for rider and environmental safety.

Our Rider Insurance Cover

We as a micro-mobility company have obtained insurance cover for our own business activities and facilitated individual rider insurance cover for the potential risks arising from using our vehicles. Our riders benefit from all-inclusive insurance cover at no additional cost, through an insurance policy obtained by us from our insurers. Riders Insurance may vary depending on circumstances. Please refer to thtenn app for more information about the insurance covers.

Types of Insurance Cover :

Rider’s Personal Accident Cover

This covers the rider for severe bodily injury that happens while riding a thtenn vehicle, even if it is due to the rider’s own mistake. Riders are insured above certain thresholds, based on the type and severity of injury as set out in the insurance terms and clauses.

Rider’s Liability Cover

This provides insurance cover to a rider for bodily injuries caused by the rider to other persons/riders. Riders are also insured for damages caused to other persons’ property as a result of using of our vehicle.

Please refer to the insurance clauses in thtenn app for more information about the cover and refer to Thtenn Rider Insurance Overview.

As part of our safe riding policy, we recommend that you wear a helmet at all times when riding our vehicle to protect your brain and save your life.

We also recommend a cruise speed of 10-15mph(max) on public road for public safety and please ride responsibly and observe all road traffic rules and regulations for your safety.
